To make it appear as though she had even more money than she actually did, Anna would often forge documents or use fake names when making transactions. For example, she once used a forged document to transfer $30,000 from one of her Citibank accounts to another account that belonged to someone else with the same name as hers. In total, Anna is believed to have scammed people out of around $275,000.
